Costume Designer & Seamstress

  

  • Design costumes and accessories for individual productions
  • Ensuring the actors look as though they belong in the play they are performing, and  seeing that they are comfortable in what they are wearing.
  • Frugal, penny-pinching willingness to work within a budget
  • Report to the Director

  

This is a challenging and rewarding position for someone who is interested in theatre or the fashion industry.

Dresser

  • Report to Stage Manager
  • Assist Cast with preparing for a performance
  • Set costumes for changes as necessary  

Make-up

  

  • Report to Stage Manager
  • Ensure sufficient make-up is available
  • Control make-up kit
  • Schedule sequence in which Cast is made up
  • Return make-up kit to clubhouse after last performance
