PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER

 

Job Description:

  

  • Write, or arrange to be written, press releases to be sent to all print, radio and television media in the area.
  • Arrange all radio and television appearances of performers re: the promotion of  the production.
  • Arrange for necessary advertising to be put into the print media.
  • Arranges for printing – flyers, posters, and brochures – distribution to cast and to the community.
  • Coordinate with other departments especially those doing fund raising.
  • Recruit assistants as needed
  • Alert public of the play through whatever media is appropriate
  • Arrange all photography
  • Organize assembly & printing of program based on information provided by Producer
  • Report to Producer
