Stage Manager

(During Rehearsals)

• Report to Director
• Attend all production meetings
• Attend all rehearsals in theatre & as many other rehearsals as possible
• Plot cues in coordination with crew before first rehearsal in theatre
• Coordinate transporting, raising, striking & storing of set

(During performances)

• Report to Producer
• Receive full responsibility for Cast & crew after final Dress rehearsal
• Accept full authority backstage (includes control booth)
• Ensure that audience does not come on stage or backstage at any time
• Ensure that crew is neither seen nor heard by the audience except if part of a scene change
• Decide on timing of curtain in coordination with Front of House manager
